![]() 6 dollars? Thats cheap!Ī tragedy… ( please excuse my bad english in advance…) Just wanna say drift streets japan had full wheel support on its beta release on steam…its a 6 dollar game. just want something to pick a fight about. I agree completely, only reason kids cry about ppl wanting wheel support is cause 1. MS has failed the xbox one to Sony’s PS4, and failed the Games for Windows/Windows Store to Steam and now it finally has a chance to redeem itself, claiming it wants to take PC gaming seriously yet here we see MS once again making very poor decisions that will turn away customers to its competition. for this to be an omission on Forza shows a complete lack of understanding of the PC gaming market from MS. games like PCars, Assetto Corsa, The Crew, Dirt Rally and every other racing game on Steam for the PC supports virtually every single steering wheel and usb peripheral on the market. It is shocking that a modern racing game like Forza will lack steering wheel support. I agree with you, I am also very disappointed as I was very much looking forward to playing the (Forza motorsport/horizon) games on my PC with my T500RS wheel. I’m not the only one that is feeling like this and certainly won’t be the most vocal. I can tell you that you will regret not supporting these wheels more than you know. I’m an avid gamer, a streamer, and very active on social media. In short, this was your opportunity lost with me. Since that didn’t happen, there’s basically no chance I’ll spend my money on this game. It’s possible that I would have purchased the game had there been wheel support in beta, because that would mean that I’d actually download and test the game. Racing without a wheel is silly and shouldn’t’ need a clever analogy to justify the importance of it. After learning there was no wheel support, I didn’t give it another thought. I don’t buy a lot of video games, but I was excited when I learned of the open beta. I can’t help but feel I should pass along my disappointment. Very disappointing that there seems to be disagreement over the importance of racing wheels. Then, I wanted to see when it would be available and instead of finding a clear discussion on how the developer is addressing this VERY IMPORTANT attribute of a racing sim I found this thread. Then I heard there wouldn’t be wheel support “until later”, so I was disappointed. Certain events are better than others the traditional races work quite well, but the demolition derbies are much more difficult. The force feedback is not the greatest in Wreckfest. It's also important to set the Accelerator and Brake Saturation to 100% to use the full range of your pedals. Some tracks and events will feel better with an even lower force feedback. Setting this too high makes the wheel very heavy and hard to turn. ![]() As such, there is only a strength setting that can be used to control the feeling in the wheel.įorce Feedback is the strength of all forces and vibrations. The force feedback in Wreckfest is very limited. For an in-depth look as to why, see my BOOST Force Feedback Analysis. Some games require Spring to be on for their force feedback to work, so I keep it at 100% as a general rule.ĭamper, on the other hand, is used by Wreckfest, adding some weight to the wheel, especially at low speeds.īOOST should always be turned off. ![]() Spring is not used by Wreckfest, so the value actually doesn't matter. ![]() 540° works very well and matches the on-screen wheel closely. Otherwise you end up fighting the wheel for control of the car much of the time. The default settings for the Thrustmaster TX and T300 aren't terrible, but the game plays better if you lower the steering angle and reduce the force feedback strength. While probably best played with a controller, it works quite well with a wheel, though you do need to tweak some settings to get the most out of it. Wreckfest is an arcade racing game first and foremost. Best Wreckfest Settings for Thrustmaster TX / T300 Septem| Filed under: Thrustmaster ![]()
